Owls Science lesson

In Science we have been looking at Changing Sounds. We started by investigating musical instruments and how the instruments make a sound.
Did you know?
Some materials are conductors as they let sound through but other materials are insulators and block sounds.

We talked about ways of preventing sound from travelling. We identified different ways, such as, ear defenders, ear plugs, carpets and sound proofing.

In class we carried out an experiment to see which everyday materials are conductors and which are insulators.
