On the 2nd of January Kaka confirmed he is going to join Manchester United. Yesterday was only the second day of the transfer window.

Kaka thought that a new club would do him good. Kaka, now aged 22, has been at his Italian club, AC Milan, for five years. He said in an interview, "I want a move now. I think it's time to get out into the world and I want to go to England." He went on to say "I've supported Man Utd all my life and now I can finally join them. They're my dream club." Kaka revealed that he was bought for £35 million.

Kaka who lives with his wife Florentina and two children, told Footballers' News, "I'm going to get paid £30,000 a week and it's good to get away from my new coach. Like I said a few months ago, he's bossy and doesn't know how to manage a team. He's only 32 and only pays me £15,000 a week."

There was no shortage of praise for Kaka. A former team mate told me, "Kaka is one of our best players."
